Position Summary: The Chemist III will have both project management and benchwork responsibilities. As Project Manager (25-50% of time) this position will lead projects from Technology Readiness Level 4 through launch. As a bench Chemist (50-75% of time) this position will contribute substantially to the development of new products within the Chemistry team.

In this role you will have an opportunity to:

  • Lead the development efforts by global team members both in R&D and cross-functionally.
  • Plan and execute projects to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Organize project phase change reviews including gaining alignment with stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative products to serve customer needs using benchtop Chemistry skills.

The essential requirements of this job include:

  • Ph.D. in chemistry or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in product development working in a chemistry, engineering, or manufacturing role.
  • Working understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of products and processes, including design, manufacturing, and market use of products.

It would be a plus if you have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • A proven record in project management, with project management training
  • A PMC or PMP

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
