The Opportunity:
The Analyst II, Financial Revenue will be responsible for the delivery of information, forecasts, analytics, and insights related to Client-reported Net Patient Revenue (NPR), and corresponding cash collections. A key responsibility in this role is client delivery support, such as: Client NPR performance monitoring, forecasting, and NPR Lift measure reporting and validation. Position will support Sr. Analysts and possibly Finance Leaders responsible for related activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the revenue forecasting and analytics including the following but not limited to: Client-reported Net Patient Revenue (NPR) and Client-reported Net Patient Revenue Forecasting and Analytics
- Analyze trends in patient volumes, patient statusing, service line utilization, acuity, and payor mix
- Perform “rate vs. volume” analysis to gain insights into changes in reported revenues
- Present observations in a succinct, professional manner to internal and external stakeholders
- Understand reserve methodology for clients and challenges they may present
- Provide assistance/coverage for monthly client close calls
- NPR Lift Analytics
- Support fulfillment of analytics/data requests required for decision making needs and performance risk mitigation
- Assists in maintaining NPR lift reporting tools to support business decision-making, forecasting, and performance improvement
- Assist in designing, developing, and implementing enhanced methods for capturing NPR Lift
- Contribute to ensuring all changes to reporting, processes, and procedures are reflected, appropriately documented, and consistency maintained

- Cash Collections Forecasting and Analytics
- Analyze and understand operational metrics affecting monthly cash collections
- Collaborate with operational teams to understand client projected cash trends trajectory
- Forecast cash collections and communicate to all stakeholders
- Ensure that all assigned activities are completed on-time, within scope, and all observations along with any barriers are communicated to the appropriate parties
- Comfortable working at a high level of performance under tight deadlines
- Performs high quality work, responsible for verification of the accuracy of the information reported
- Evaluation of current processes and tools and propose changes to drive efficiencies within the organization.
- Maintains HIPAA and patient confidentiality training and handles confidential matters in accordance with policies and procedures
