Assistant Fleet Coordinator Overview
Responsible for assisting with managing the interchange agreements between the Company’s clients and independent contractors. Facilitate the oversight and management of assets pursuant to the terms of the agreements and ensure Company’s compliance, alongside the Fleet Coordinator.
Pay and Schedule
$17/hr and about 16-20 hours per week. We are looking for open availability and ability to work weekends.
Responsibilities
(include, but are not limited to)
- Assists in completing monthly insurance updates, reporting for Client requests, Insurance requirements, and misc. reporting as needs are identified
- Assists in maintaining records of vehicle/equipment in the interchange, who has them, what is available
- Assists in the development and maintenance of interchange records as needed
- Completes periodic audits and provides training and education on the interchange agreements, some of which may be on-site
- Coordinates with client’s Fleet group to keep registrations for all vehicles current
- Coordinates with maintenance vendors to ensure each vehicle is ready for use
- Ensures all interchange agreements are fully executed on each vehicle at checkout/check in
- Manages, schedules, and communicates truck PM schedule dates and follow up for verification of completed work
- Promptly communicates with the market, compliance and claims as IC or vehicle interchange issues arise
- Serves as an additional point of contact for fleet customers (internal and external)
- Supports and assists with project management for communication and assignment of tasks to ensure deadlines are met with maintenance, registration, and daily operations
- Travels to markets/location(s) for inspections, start-ups, and other business needs
Requirements
- 15-20% Travel
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
- Ability to work a schedule that may include some holidays and weekends
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of the interchange equipment
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Valid Driver’s License
