YOUR ROLE

The Retail Inventory & Training Manager supports our employee training experiences and inventory management operations across all Stio Mountain Studio™ locations. This role involves becoming an expert at our current and future state training and inventory management processes, with expertise gained quickly in the day-to-day store operations and support. They are responsible for project coordination related to store needs with retail leadership and key internal stakeholders aligned with our evolving channel growth, both current and new retail locations. The Retail Inventory & Training Manager will bring experience in training development and organized implementation, able to set and meet timelines with clear stakeholder communication. They also guide ongoing inventory management processes and resources and help create robust reporting tools that pull from various sources. The responsibilities of this role will continue to evolve with growth ahead for our retail channel and company.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train alongside and observe daily operations and teams in Mountain Studio locations to understand the processes and opportunities related to inventory management and training resources
  • Streamline and improve training materials for store teams, supporting current employee and new employee onboarding experiences
  • Support inventory management needs across locations, improving internal tools, collaborating with stakeholders on follow up and learnings across each team
  • Collaborate with retail leadership and cross-divisional teams to create meaningful inventory reporting tools and analysis from gathering input across our channel KPIs and create applicable action plans
  • Able to travel up to 30% annually, as needed support for new store openings for training dates, initial set up of warehouse and inventory management operations, and bi-annual inventory count support as needed
  • Ongoing collaboration with retail leadership and teams, plus cross-divisional key stakeholders as needed

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree and subsequent work experience in project coordination and/or retail leadership required
  • 3-5 years of experience in at least two areas within project management: Retail store operations, training and development, inventory management, or other relevant role experience required
  • Proven experience in effective retail operations including process improvement
  • Proven experience in creating and guiding effective training materials and rollout
  • Specific new store opening retail experience preferred
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel skills, including ability to consolidate a variety of data inputs
  • Preferred experience with Asana project management tools, careful and consistent attention to detail
  • Comfortable creating impactful training materials and supporting operations training needs across store teams
  • Able to deliver on support projects efficiently and effectively, with an organized approach to timelines and timely follow through with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced communication skills, able to clearly articulate support needs and summarize high level progress updates across key stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and collaborate cross-divisionally as needed to complete various projects within impactful timelines
  • Excited to jump in wherever needed and to adjust to growing needs of our team as this role evolves

THE FINE PRINT

  • This role is full-time salaried and exempt, reporting to the Retail Director, part of our Central Retail team
  • Must be located near a Stio Mountain Studio and a major airport
  • When supporting an on-site project, must be able to move around the retail space, move upwards of 50 lbs., and occasionally traverse ladders
