Position Summary:
As a Regional Accountant, you will be responsible for day-to-day general accounting, reporting, and project analysis for the region. Collaborating closely with the Regional Finance Manager and client-facing teams, you'll ensure data integrity, manage project accounting, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a Regional Accountant to join our team, playing a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, driving process improvements, and supporting decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Accounting:
- Collaborate with the Regional Finance Manager and client teams to maintain real-time project financial information.
- Assist in project set up, budgeting, revenue recognition, and billing schedules.
- Manage client invoicing for fees and expenses.
Financial Operations:
- Perform regular general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and analyze monthly results, preparing presentation materials.
- Actively interact with client-facing teams to enhance cash flow through Accounts Receivable monitoring.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Collect, analyze, and translate financial data into actionable metrics.
- Support external and internal audit engagements, preparing audit materials.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Lead conversations with client teams, providing accurate and timely data.
- Build financial acumen across the region.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- 1-3 years’ experience in corporate or public accounting.
- Preference given to candidates with global finance experience in a multi-national corporation.
- Preference given to candidates with professional services industry experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Project Management: Prioritize tasks, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities independently.
- Client Relationship Management: Effectively communicate across functions and geographies, with a client services orientation.
- Financial Management: Understanding of US GAAP, exposure to IFRS, and the ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (Dynamics D365, SAP) and Power BI; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Data Analysis: Interpret data and provide insights gained from analysis.
