About the role

As the Vice President (VP) of IT Business Engineering, you will lead our IT group in delivering projects on time and on budget while leveraging technology to improve business operations.  You’ll be responsible for all aspects of business engineering including business plan development, requirements gathering, project delivery and value realization.  As the leader of change management, you’ll work and communicate with everyone from the senior leadership to team associates.  Utilizing various tools and methodologies such as six-sigma, you will analyze current processes and implement improvements to make the company more efficient.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the IT business engineering strategy aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the IT business engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technology Solutions: Partner with key IT groups to implement technology solutions that enhance business processes and support organizational growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and ensure IT solutions align with business requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to IT projects and operations, ensuring the security and integrity of systems and data.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while meeting business objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners to assess and implement third-party solutions.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop IT business engineering professionals, fostering a high-performing team.

What we're hiring for

  • Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.  MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in IT management, with a focus on business engineering and project delivery. Previous experience in a leadership role is required.
  • Experience with implementing complex IT projects (e.g. ERP, cross-functional, cloud, etc.)
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth understanding of IT systems, business processes, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
  • Familiarity with the industry and market trends affecting IT and business engineering.
