The Work You Will Do:
Freight and Logistics Specialist IV – District Four / Transportation Development / Modal Development / Strategic Development
This position will review, analyze, and research legislative issues and prepare analysis of the projected effect of any proposed legislation or action for freight and aviation.
This position also monitors the aviation program, approves funding, tasks, scopes, and confirms the disposition of awards, and other agreements.

Annual Salary Range:
$68,234.76 - $88,303.80
A Competitive Area Differential (CAD) additive in the amount of $1,976.00 will be added to the annual salary.
Your Specific Responsibilities:
Reviews, analyzes, and researches legislative issues and prepares analysis of the projected effect of any proposed legislation or action for freight and aviation. Reviews Joint Participation Agreement (JPA) deliverables, including approved drawings, specifications, contract documents, reports and invoices for projects after requisite coordination with the Tallahassee Freight and Aviation Office. Reviews plans and specifications to ensure compatible land use around public use airports, which includes obstructions standards and environmental concerns. Monitors incoming aviation-related correspondence and drafts applicable responses as necessary. Conducts mid and final project inspections and interviews transportation partners and conducts on-site observation (mid and final project inspections) to ascertain work performed, and methods of equipment.
