We are seeking talented individuals to join our multidisciplinary team in the Community Forensic Mental Health Service (CFMHS). As a Level 3 AHP/Case Manager, you will work collaboratively within a professional and experienced team, providing high-quality mental health care to complex forensic clients. You will be a clinical expert and a vital resource for nursing, medical, and allied health staff, ensuring that we deliver the best possible outcomes for our consumers and stakeholders.
The role:
In accordance with primary health care principles, Agency policy and direction, legal requirements, service policy and procedures and professional competencies, undertake the delivery of quality patient care services, based on best practice and within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
- Provide a specialist forensic social work service
- Provide psycho-social assessment and treatment, including the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment programs
- Work within the multidisciplinary team and participate in case management reviews to ensure continuity of care

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $106.966 - $118,114 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
Allowances
- Correctional Allowance of 6.5%
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme

Eligibility:
Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Overseas qualified Social Work candidates require a “certification of eligibility” letter from the AASW to confirm their eligibility for membership to the AASW
