Job Description
Title: Senior Operations Analyst
Key Accountabilities:
1. Analyze the supply chain utilizing internal data, develop and facilitate improvement plans to improve logistics
operations, including capacity studies and equipment/resource utilization.
2. Develop and suggest new and improved reporting tools to assist in further development of production logistics operation.
3. Daily duties include creating and presenting KPI reports and supporting root cause analysis as needed.
4. Act and perform duties as SAP key user for production logistics team.
5. Perform audits and monitor SAP system accuracy, work with responsible parties to resolve any concerns.
6. Works closely with IT and SAP system changes that affect WM/IM applications. Diagnose system related issues and implement solutions as key user.
7. Plan, initiate, and manage logistics development projects and ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope; while keeping management abreast of issues, pending problems, and operational or financial impacts.
8. Lead and support the company's continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of a standardized process approach.
9. Develop and implement solutions with focus on digitalization and improved techniques in line with Factory of the Future concepts.
10. Regularly perform material re-classification analysis for cycle counting in the warehouse and act as key contact for data inventory audits, provide all necessary system data and process information.
11. Create, maintain QMS and ICS systems, including Local Work Instructions and Controlled Forms for logistics function as subject matter expert. Key point of contact for ISO/other business audits.
12. Create and be point of contact for de-rusting, preservation, and other facility related purchase requisitions.
13. Work closely with other teams to improve communication, efficiency, and throughput.
14. Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
15. Perform special projects as required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Materials Management and 5 years of experience in operational
support or inventory management in a manufacturing environment or 9 years in operational support or inventory

Preferred:
- Excellent knowledge of SAP warehouse and inventory management (WM/IM).
- Excellent knowledge of modern inventory management principles and supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, as well as an understanding of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
- Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills.
- Strong ability to work independently, with little direction, and effectively with teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability where problems are complex.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in Warehouse Management
- Inventory and ISO audit experience
- Operational budgeting and financial monitoring experience.
