Assurance - Service Line Analytics (Supervising Associate) (Multiple Positions) (1604979), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Washington, DC. 

 

Perform data analysis and build explanatory and predictive models using statistical and machine learning on projects with moderate and high complexity. Lead as the principal investigator on analytical projects. Collaborate with the Business Analytics team to build quantitative tools. Develop models for data preparation, data profiling, building models, writing documentation, performing quality control procedures, white papers, visualization and present practical implications of the results to the business. Lead as the principal investigator to build explanatory and predictive models using statistical and machine learning methods in the areas of audit risk, staffing needs for engagements, monitoring, and other areas. Develop leading practices for all phases of the analytics development cycle such as conceptualizing the analysis, determining data requirements, identifying and solving issues, reporting clearly and communicating results. Communicate progress, barriers, risks and benefits to the team members and clients to achieve project success. Gain a broad understanding of audit business fundamentals, and of the firm. Utilize analytical skills to analyze large data sets, conduct quantitative analysis and build predictive models while using customized approaches to meet internal client needs.  
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Master’s degree in Statistics, Predictive Analytics or a related field plus 3 years of related experience. 

 

Must have 3 years of experience with machine learning methods. 

 

Must have 3 years of experience building empirical models. 

 

Must have 3 years of experience analyzing large data sets, conducting quantitative analyses and building predictive models, while using customized approaches to meet internal client needs. 

 

Must have 3 years of SAS or R or Python experience (or equivalent package for the analyses) 

 

Must have 2 years of project management experience.
