Partner with the best
Become part of the team designing the future CWI standard product offering. Use your engineering skills, product knowledge, and understanding of supply chains to create and implement a Modular design architecture that spans across multiple CWI product lines.
- As part of the design team create and iterate Modular design concepts that are interchangeable, common, scalable, simpler and manufacturable at a lower cost.
- Design and validate though prototype testing the functionality of the design to the SOR and industry standards.
- Design should incorporate DFMA element and modular system elements wherever possible to ensure it delivers the most cost effective and scalable modular system possible.
- Utilize the FEA team and Process Mapping activities to identify and minimize design risks and optimize design outcome
- Develop and release modular BOM’s and design documentation that facilitate the manufacturing order management process
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Have good knowledge of 3D CAD tools
- Have knowledge of industry codes and standards - API
- Have a good knowledge of SAP
- Have 3+ year’s experience working in Mechanical design team environment.
- Demonstrate solid engineering understanding, with practical hands-on skills.
- Have a solid Design foundation & an understanding of traditional manufacturing methods (DFM)
- Have proven analytical & problem-solving skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with experience in procedure development.
