As a Sr. Analyst, People Operations you are responsible for all-things related to data, tools, process, documentation, and supporting and empowering the People team. - The base pay range for this position is $113,600 - $156,200 per year

**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
What you get to do every day
- Contribute to the development, documentation, and implementation of culture-aligned policies, procedures, and programs compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Identify and promote opportunities to automate processes, enhance workflow efficiency, and develop self-service resources
- Collaborate with the People Ops team to manage our HRIS records, ensuring data integrity, compliance with applicable laws, and adherence to best practices
- Act as the primary point of contact for the People Ops inbox, addressing a wide range of daily needs
- Oversee all aspects of pre-boarding (the period between job acceptance and the first day) and offboarding processes
- Develop comprehensive checklists and audit schedules to ensure accurate, timely processing for day-to-day work
- Work with the People Ops team to maintain systems, including file feed management, tool integrations/APIs, and similar tasks
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making within the People Ops team and provide insights to business leaders
- Assist in designing communication plans to educate employees on available tools and support, and conduct training sessions as needed
- Contribute to building and managing a scalable digital records framework for our primarily remote workforce
- Contribute to the People Ops playbook to ensure stakeholders are clear on swim lanes (e.g., using the RACI model)
- Offer guidance to leaders and employees on various HR support needs, including benefits, payroll, and policies
- Foster trust-based relationships and ensure a positive experience for those we support
What you bring to the role
- 1-3 years of experience in People Operations with a solid understanding of core HR practices
- Operational knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law across multiple jurisdictions (including California) and implications of remote work
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS) software
- Experience establishing and tracking program metrics, problem-solving, and identifying root causes of data integrity issues
- Skills in change management, process implementation, collaboration, and relationship management with strong communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to address process and people-related issues with a continual learning mindset and a passion for technology, automation, and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to learn quickly, adapt, and adjust on the fly
- A sense of urgency and a need to make sure everyone is always informed
- Comfort building structure in an ambiguous startup environment, developing new policies, programs, and procedures, and documenting as you go
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
