Maintenance Shift Lead

The Maintenance Shift Lead will supervise and support a team of maintenance staff, ensuring that all assigned cleaning tasks are completed effectively, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills. The Maintenance Shift Lead position will be Tuesday-Friday 3PM- 11:30PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules are followed, and tasks are completed to quality standards, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and trash removal.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Safely operate company vehicles and trucks, maintaining an acceptable and clean driving record that meets specific company policy.
• Complete work orders and tasks assigned in Parking Tasker.
• Prepare and submit shift reports, including updates on completed tasks, issues encountered, and staff performance.
• Troubleshooting Equipment in the Field.
• Some parking enforcement is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a janitorial or custodial role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory position is preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safety procedures.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
