ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mission Support Services Portfolio Lead.  This position is a remote opportunity.

ManTech’s Digital Transformation Division (DTD) is seeking a dynamic, proven senior leader to serve as the Portfolio Lead of Mission Support Services program to include physical/information security; morale, welfare and recreation; safety and occupational health; and strategic planning service offerings. In this capacity, you will be responsible for expanding our position as a leading Federal Implementer of improved business processes and digital transformation solutions that enable mission outcomes for our customers. Our Mission Support Services Portfolio Lead reports to our Mission Support (MS) Practice Director and works with MS Digitalization Lead, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Luminaries, and Growth Lead to execute responsibilities.

This is a remote position that may require up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all operational activities for our physical/information security; morale, welfare and recreation; safety and occupational health; and strategic planning service offerings.
  • Responsible for definition of Solution Offerings for the practice in alignment with practice, division, and overall corporate strategy.
    • Growth Management - Leads all Mission Support Services Program growth activities.
    • Responsible for opportunity identification/maturation/movement through gate review process and stages of capture, proposal development and closing.
  • Program Execution - Leads team of Project Managers and leverages MS Digitalization Lead and DTD division-level resources in executing awarded
  • Thought Leadership - Responsible for Thought Leadership within the Mission Support Services Program to include all aspects of Technology and Innovation, Research and Development (R&D) and Intellectual Property creation.
  • External Outreach. Works with external stakeholders to include platform vendors, business partners (subcontractor network), and industry forums to execute responsibilities.
  • Talent Management. Responsible for full lifecycle of talent management, talent development, and employee experience for the Practitioners under your responsibilities to include career path definition, workforce planning, recruitment, talent development, resource management, performance management, and rewards and recognition with support from our People and Culture team. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or related degree.
  • 15+ years of relevant DoD mission support management experience.
  • Experience with Federal capture and proposal development with a track record of successful awards.
  • Experience managing and executing Federal programs.
  • Proven success in delivering successful outcomes on Federal organizational, business process, and/or technology transformation projects.
  • Experience managing/leading teams larger than 20 people.
  • Ability to attract, enable, development and retain top data talent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master's degree in a relevant business or technical field.
  • Strong professional network within the DoD and Federal Mission Support community.
  • Experience implementing IT solutions within the DOD and other Federal Agencies.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship, current/active DoD Secret Clearance, prefer Top Secret

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,500-$217,500. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
