- The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) team supports the organization’s submission grappling and grappling-based programming across digital and live platforms. This department works closely with production, content, and operations teams to help execute events, manage athlete participation, and support programming tied to owned platforms such as UFC FIGHT PASS. Their work contributes to the growth of grappling content and expands engagement with fans across the broader combat sports ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Support logistics and operations for live UFC BJJ events, including equipment, athlete check-in, and venue coordination
- Assist with administrative tasks: scheduling, data entry, tracking athlete development, documents and data.
- Help coordinate travel, credentialing, and communications for athletes and coaches.
- Assist with on-site event setup and breakdown during shows and weigh-ins
- Support planning and execution of our upcoming UFC BJJ reality show.
- Contribute to research, outreach, and organizational support as needed across business and marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; Junior, Senior, Graduate-level preferred or within six months of graduation
- Passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, ideally someone who trains and is a blue belt or higher.
- Willing to work flexible hours during event weeks (including weekends)
- Proficiency in Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Eager to learn, take initiative, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Program Details
We offer internship opportunities across IMG, On Location, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), TKO Corporate, UFC, and WWE. Locations include New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Raleigh, Dallas, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and Stamford, CT. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted.
In addition to hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops addressing everything from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking.
Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location.
Important Dates
- By January 30th: Internships are posted to our career sites.
- February 28th: Applications will be accepted through this date.
- March 1st to March 27th: Recruiters will contact candidates and begin the interview process.
- March 30th to April 17th: Offers will be extended to selected candidates.
- May 18th: Program start date.
- The program will be 12 weeks in length.
