DevOps Team Lead

We’re a close-knit, ambitious team of 33, driven by a mission to make this world a better place by bringing affordable, environmentally sustainable cloud capacity to organizations.<br/><br/>As the DevOps Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the DevOps team, managing, developing, and implementing operations, systems, and infrastructure.<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and support the DevOps team in daily activities and long-term skill development.</li><li>Build robust and highly scalable systems that support our growth.</li><li>Serve as the point of contact for evaluating new ideas, reviewing innovation proposals, and ensuring they align with strategic goals, business value, and architectural standards.</li><li>Promote innovation and automation within teams, making project priorities and participation decisions.</li><li>Lead the advancement of modern automation and observability functions across all areas.</li><li>Collaborate with customers and support teams to ensure our infrastructure and deployment practices enhance end-user experience and satisfaction.</li><li>Complete other tasks as necessary to contribute to the progress of the company.</li></ul><ul><li>A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.</li><li>At least ten years of related experience with a minimum of five years in a leadership role within a high-growth technology company.</li><li>Demonstrated experience scaling infrastructure during significant growth phases.</li><li>Strong project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>A strategic thinker who can dive deep into technical details when necessary.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Experience with storage technologies and solutions, including storage management and optimization techniques.</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms, familiarity with virtualization technologies, understanding of networking principles, and relevant certifications are preferred but not required.</li></ul><ul><li>Company equity - you’re in this with us!</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance, lunch benefit, annual budget to spend as you wish (i.e. sport, transport, wellness, culture)</li><li>Flexible work environment</li><li>Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI</li><li>Growth in a mission-driven company</li></ul>
