POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be required to have two years of heavy equipment operating experience with a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of the mountain and the base area are preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Work in tight areas with many obstacles with limited maneuverability

• Concentrate and problem solve in extreme situations

• Perform work with pedestrians present and during low light/low visibility weather conditions

• Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements

• Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed

• Other duties, as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a valid driver's license and meet SSRC’s minimum driving and insurability standards

• Minimum of 2 years heavy equipment operating experience required

• Knowledge of the mountain and base area preferred

• Experience moving scoria or snow required

• Adhere to all safety policies

• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards

• Must have valid driver’s license without limitations or restrictions and meet company’s insurability standards

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required
