JOB SUMMARY:
The BMX Program Supervisor will oversee, continually develop, grow and manage the BMX Program at Woodward West. They will supervise all aspects of the BMX Program including staff, daily responsibilities, as well as developing a fun and interactive environment for campers. The BMX Program Supervisor will support the marketing, content, and development of the BMX Program sponsorship plan. The supervisor will help support the overall BMX industry relationships and developments.
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations involved in running the BMX Program. This includes all scheduling, facilitating mandatory sessions, clinics, events and supervising all staff within the program. Additionally, this will include assisting in facilitating dirt sessions, clinics, and contests. The BMX Program Supervisor will aid with parent-camper communications as needed.

Pay: $20.00 an hour
This position is classified under California's Camp Counselor exemption (LAB 118.4 and Wage Order 5). Employees are paid a weekly salary of 85% of their hourly rate for hours worked between 40- 54 hours per week or will be paid at 85% of their hourly rate for each hour worked if the employee works less than 40 hours per week. Any hours worked over 54 will be paid at overtime rates, in accordance with California labor law.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Preferred experience in leadership
Preferred 3+ years of experience working with kids and/or teens.
Experience working in a camp environment is preferred.
Experience in action sports coaching required
Health and Safety Certifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, comfortable presenting and deploying new technologies.
Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques.
Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time.
Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Is creative. Can conceptualize ideas. Can think "outside the box". Can implement ideas.
