CSCS TXPOSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Facilities & Construction, the Security Management position is a specialized role within
the Facilities & Construction department responsible for the operations and continuity of Caliber Collision’s
security and fire alarm programs. This includes the future state planning of these programs. The ideal candidate
for this role will have a strong understanding of security & alarm equipment, principles, best practices, and
industry standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships and working with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Applications Owners, Enterprise Architects, Application Development, DevOps and Network and Security teams to design and deliver the best solutions for large scale infrastructure cloud solutions.
Facilitate systems coordination between operators and security integrators to find optimal security solutions
Manage major fire alarm issues, including partial or full replacements.
Oversee initial onboarding of all alarm systems, including collecting emergency contact information and ensuring quality installations before job sign off.
Coordinate the connection/disconnection of paint booth to fire alarm systems
Manage and oversee new construction project for alarm system integration post opening
Manage support request through internal ticket system, including creating, tracking, and closing purchase orders and communicating with vendors.
Provide continuous communication between the field, CSCS, and vendors
Implement and manage company processes and policies for security systems
Oversee internal programs such as Alarm Training, Security System onboarding, false alarm prevention, emergency service dispatching, and standardized center security levels
Coordinate investigations with Risk Management and Legal Groups for center break-ins, including retrieving security footage, alarm logs, and vendor statements.
Communicate with local jurisdictions for pending investigations and to resolve escalated issues such as fire watch
Lead and manage the alarms team overseeing projects, tickets, and invoicing.
Conduct regular team meetings, collaborate with leadership, and monitor/approve work schedules
Ensure team efficiency, productivity, and performance
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in MS office products
Ability to multitask & stay organized.
Ability to work self-sufficiently.
Ability to work cross functionally with various departments
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1-2 years of higher education in alarm systems or equivalent
2-4 years in the alarm industry
2 years in management experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires moderate physical activity. Handling of average weight objects up to 50 pounds; frequent standing or walking.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is typically in a normal office and collision center environment.
