Job Summary:
The Spa Manager supports the Spa Director in overseeing the daily operations of the spa facility. This role ensures service excellence, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction by managing staff, supervising front-of-house operations, coordinating marketing initiatives, and maintaining high standards of safety and service. The Spa Manager plays a key leadership role in motivating staff to exceed guest expectations and achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Ensure the Arch Amenities Group Experience by upholding brand standards, mission, values, and service expectations.
- Supervise daily spa operations, including opening and closing procedures, facility inspections, cash handling, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures, focusing on guest services, front desk administration, and maintenance.
- Oversee facility safety, security, and guest access protocols.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Assist with payroll processing, HR duties, and financial reporting in accordance with company policy.
- Support budget management through efficient scheduling and inventory control.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for supplies, equipment, and retail products.
- Prepare and submit purchase orders with appropriate justifications.
Team Leadership & Training
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop spa team members to ensure professional growth and service excellence.
- Provide coaching, positive reinforcement, and performance evaluations; assist with disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Lead staff meetings and training workshops to ensure product knowledge and service expertise.
- Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation for supervisory coverage.
Guest Experience & Service Quality
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest feedback and resolving concerns.
- Monitor guest satisfaction through surveys, comment cards, and other feedback tools.
- Ensure staff are knowledgeable about spa services, treatments, and retail products.
Marketing & Sales Support
- Assist in creating and executing marketing, promotions, and public relations strategies.
- Develop group participation and recruitment plans to drive service and retail sales.
- Write articles, press releases, or marketing content when applicable.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing key facility metrics, guest feedback, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws.
- Complete and submit incident or accident reports as needed.
