Broadridge is growing! We're seeking an Associate Digital Press Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate a digital press, perform general press maintenance, adhere to company and departments policies, procedures, and standards. Their roles include but not limited to loading stock, processing/allocating files, setting up the press, troubleshooting, monitoring the quality of printed output, clean up the work area, and meet department production goals.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe working environment. Perform lockout/tagout procedures appropriately.

  • Load the press with appropriate stock and consumables.

  • Set up and print images on appropriate stock, following the production schedule. Print the job before the schedule due date.

  • Perform quality inspection in compliance with proofing and approval procedures.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.

  • Ability to efficiently setup and run up to 2 printers at a time.

  • Stay abreast and maintain knowledge of cutting-edge technology in the work environment.

  • May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year related printing experience.

  • Understands overall operation of equipment and their interrelations: and an ability to troubleshoot and isolate failures.

  • Use time efficiently; works at a pace to get things done within an appropriate timeframe; meets deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a diverse group environment. Relates well and shows respect and consideration for others; builds relationships.

  • Ability to safely use a wide range of tools and equipment/machinery. Possesses a mechanical aptitude.

  • Understands and applies industry/job standards, regulations, and rules. Understands the flow of work  

  • Takes initiative to seek formal/informal training. Develops new skills and improves performance; asks questions to gain understanding. Applies new information, concepts or procedures and learns from experience. Strives to become a Sr. Digital Press Operator.

  • Shift: Late Week Night (LWN) Wed., Thurs., Fri., alt. Sat. 6pm-6am

Requirements:

  • Be able to move heavy paper roll.

  • Be able to safely push output stack on to output cart.

  • May be required to work overtime outside of normally scheduled hours as mandated by business needs.

  • Be able to lift up to 35lb.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English language.

  • Must have a basic knowledge of computer functions.

  • May be exposed to excessive or loud noise where hearing protection use may be required.

  • Required to stand or walk for 12 hours.

  • Hourly Rate: $16.45 - $17.45 per hour depending on experience

  • Annual Bonus: You will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus of up to $1,250.00
