LVMG- Security Guard- Weekends

We are currently seeking a Security Guard every other weekend from 8a-4pm. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check in with previous guard, review assignments and log book at beginning of shift
• Check and lock doors at assigned times
• Inspect and maintain vehicles
• Respond to emergencies, e.g., fire, emergency response system and assist nursing personnel as directed
• Follow emergency call lists; help direct emergency vehicles if necessary
• Document and check mechanical equipment operation, gauges and controls
• Check for any unsafe conditions and repair or report to Facilities Management
• Check all equipment to make sure it is properly turned off
• During snowstorms, help keep ice and snow away from emergency exit
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of maintenance and Grounds

Hourly Wage will be based on candidate qualifications including relevant years of experience and certifications/education

• High School Diploma, or GED
• 1 Year Security Guard experience in a CCRC environment preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional and Friendly demeanor
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Team Player
• Valid CPR Certification a plus, but willing to provide training to certify
