Senior Java Developer (Angular & French A2)

Contract Type: B2B

Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site in Bucharest

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong knowledge of Angular and French at A2 level to join a long-term enterprise project. The role involves working on complex backend systems as well as frontend components, contributing to the development and maintenance of scalable applications in a modern, service-oriented architecture.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (versions 6–17)
• Solid experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with Angular for frontend development
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and integration
• Experience with batch processing and job scheduling (e.g. RPM or similar frameworks)
• Solid knowledge of PL/SQL demonstrating interaction with relational databases
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging/streaming platforms
• Ability to work in complex enterprise environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot
• Develop and enhance frontend components using Angular
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Implement and maintain batch processing jobs
• Work with databases using PL/SQL for data access and optimization
• Integrate messaging and streaming solutions using Kafka
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and security
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and problem-solving sessions

Language Requirements

• French – A2 level (mandatory)
• English – professional working proficiency.
