Assistant CAD Designer (DATA ENTRY ROLE)

Our Company:  BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker.

Main functions:

We're looking for a Data Entry Assistant to enter all data relating to garments developed using our custom software. An ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, has quick typing skills and is a self-starter who is excited to work in a rapidly evolving office.

Reports to: Design Manager

 Responsibilities:

• Organizing and compiling information on multiple operating systems
• Combines data from different departments on one chart to make sure all information is accounted for and complete.
• Verifying accuracy and sorting information for computer entry
• Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors
• Correcting any incompatibilities & Purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
• Working with the design team to gather all necessary data in a timely manner.
• Secures information by completing data base backups.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
• Filing for copyrights for development prints and purchased artworks.

Requirements

• Must have 0-3 years of data entry experience
• Fashion background would be great, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and execution skills. Operationally-minded.
• Detailed oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
• Comfortable entering and retrieving data from multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift focus as needed
• Strong follow up skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to write concise messages and communicate clearly.
• Good working knowledge of Excel

The salary for this non-exempt role is $50k.
