Salary – $74,302 up to $130,530 pa plus superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

 

Located in Grafton, you will provide a consultancy service to support youth in need of psychological support within custodial and community locations, delivering psychological assessments, intervention, and therapeutic services.

 

What you’ll do

 

Deliver psychological services to involuntary clients with a range of complex needs and challenging behaviours.

 

Manage competing priorities and demands for psychological services with limited professional resources while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.

 

What we’re looking for

 

• Delivering therapeutic services, programs, assessments, and intervention to young people who have offended, including sexual offences.
• Assisting in the formulation and review of case plans to support young people on remand or sentenced to a custodial or community order.
• Training colleagues to screen, identify and support young people with mental health problems, intellectual disability, or cognitive impairment.
• Prepare reports, advice, deliver consultation to statutory authorities, while maintaining confidentially and documenting case notes in accordance with department policies and guidelines.
