In this role, you will:

  • Approve changes to specifications and recipes in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Ensure specification updates are loaded into Product Acceptance Software System (PASS) / Plant Information Management System (PIMS) / PLM systems and update visuals/documents.
  • Communicate specification changes to Operations and all site/staff stakeholders.   Ensure training on new/revised specifications is provided to Operations and Quality Auditors. 
  • Perform quality tasks in and outside of the micro lab including finished product, water, raw material, personnel, and environmental microbiological testing.
  • Conduct microbiological testing in a timely manner while adhering to aseptic techniques, local work instructions and standard test methods.
  • Support training of less senior micro laboratory technicians and new hires.
  • Support departmental sanitary manufacturing projects and validations. 
  • Manage document reviews and changes in Excellence Through Quality (ETQ).
  • Serve as a backup for key Quality roles. Record daily testing and activities using software Lab Information Management System (LIMS) and in various logbooks utilizing Good Documentation Practices.
  • Perform verifications on microbiology laboratory calibrated equipment as needed.

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • Associate degree in Quality Assurance related field.
  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience.
  • Have good computer skills, knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Are able to maintain a work schedule of 8-hour shift, with flexibility for occasional nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as business needs.
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to understand product specifications and regulations. Familiar with compliance audits.
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to lead problem-solving to work with cross functional staff/site team to determine the root cause
  • Ability to effectively influence others, possessing strong interpersonal skills, able to adjust communication style to different audiences.
  • Demonstrate managing time and tasks efficiently while maintaining an excellent quality of work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use and demonstrate aseptic techniques when performing testing.
  • Ability to support other teams and projects as business needs dictate.
