NetSuite is looking for a data-driven and strategic analyst to own our Sales and Planning activities. The ideal candidate gets excited about business analytics, can synthesize complex planning activities into simple explanations, and is comfortable driving change through a collaborative approach. Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual vigor, and desire to drive long-term business objectives are vital for success in this role. 

 

The Revenue Planning team is critical to the NetSuite GBU’s GTM team. We set strategic goals to expand our customer base and consult with executive leadership on areas of weakness or opportunity. 


The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, strong attention to detail, and experience creating and owning data models. Additionally, strong intrapersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations will be a cornerstone to success.

What You'll Do

 

  • Join a high-performing team of Revenue Planning Analysts to support our ambitious growth targets (+20% YoY ARR).
  • Support the portfolio planning process, including headcount and capacity planning, account distribution, and customer health assessment.
  • Determine key KPIs, improve funnel conversion, and optimize our resource allocation for maximum impact.
  • Balance a high-level strategic view of the business while doing deep-dive analyses into forecasting and overall business performance.
  • Explain key planning drivers, gather feedback from sales, and make actionable recommendations to senior leadership across the organization.
  • Monitor Churn, Downsell, and Upsell while analyzing specific Product performance across geographies and Verticals.
  • Help craft and measure sales strategy for our vertical stakeholders. Proactively uncover potential issues and offer insights for optimization.

Who You Are

 

  • 5+ years supporting sales and/or marketing in an FP&A or Revenue Operations role
  • Demonstrated understanding of B2B SaaS with an emphasis on go-to-market teams
  • Prior experience building and maintaining complex financial models and forecasts
  • Great team player: willing to lead an agenda, learn new skills, and roll up their sleeves to support when and where needed
  • Pro-active and independent worker; willing and able to plan and execute foundational research, while also solving short-term problems
  • Excellent communicator with a bias toward simplicity. In this role, it’s critical to bring marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders together, while simplifying complex data into clear recommendations with immediate applicability to the business
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem solver
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where instructions may be ambiguous
  • Experience with a BI tool (Looker, Domo, Tableau, etc), ERP (NetSuite) and/or an EPM tool is a required
