Introduction

Key product management and technical leadership role responsible for overall product technical & commercial success. This role is responsible for product lifecycle leadership including sales, marketing, R&D, product application, competition and market tracking, product positioning, and technical training globally.

Short department description

This role leads all aspects of the product globally working with and through FLS capital sales, site sales, global PLM's, business development, and FLS senior management to create, develop, and cultivate a high-demand market for REFLUX Classifier products. This role also is responsible to provide technical leadership related to the REFLUX Classifier across FLS and the mining industry

Your responsibilities

· Develop and lead a global product sales, marketing, and order execution efforts to achieve goals and targets.

· Set guidelines for product applications and process warranty

· Serve as the dedicated advocate and spokesperson for the product

· Develop short and long term product initiatives including new product development

· Develop, implement and consolidate sales material specific to product groups and ensure access for all sales engineers

· Facilitate solutions to process problems / new product applications

· Define product improvements and standardizations and recommend new product development and acquisitions.

· Disseminate information on competition and new technologies.

· Evaluate proposal risks in areas of warranty, terms and conditions, delivery and product configuration.

· Prepares accurate and complete scopes for proposal preparation, cost estimating, and production engineering.

· Evaluate market trends and recommend promotional sales support activities.

· Develop sales aids such as brochures, technical data and catalogs.

· Provide direct field sales support in such activities as specification review, customer presentation, product application and sizing, process start-up and technical training.

· Prepare forecasts and financial reports. Track information such as reference installations, key prospects, competitor analysis, etc. and other activities to monitor competitiveness of product lines.

· Help to guide work direction and priorities for Engineering, IOD, Procurement, RPLM’s, and R&D teams.

· Works together with Engineering, IOD, Procurement & Hub/ROD teams to maintain tight control of order budgets, forecasting, spend, invoicing, and change orders to maximize project profitability and mitigate risk.

· Works together with R+D to review and analyze pilot data to ensure proper sizing and application of product line. Guide R+D to focus on product improvement opportunities

· Help attract and develop product talent globally

What you bring

· Minimum of 5 years' experience in the relevant product line or process equipment is essential.

· A B.S. degree in one of the engineering disciplines is preferred.

· Proficiency in interpreting RFQ documents, specifications, and drawings, coupled with knowledge of marketing, bidding, and pricing techniques.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong reporting and presentation abilities.

· Familiarity with MS-Project, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.

· Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical terms, and to deliver formal presentations. Proficiency in using company-standard software on personal computers.

· Demonstrated leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills. Competency in planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

· Willingness to travel internationally approximately 30%-40% of the time.

· Experience in overseeing and managing pilot test programs, including data analysis, is advantageous.

· Familiarity with gravity separation technologies is a plus.
