Purpose

The ideal candidate will walk/drive around campus and go to every building, inspecting the Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) located at Celebrated Entrances and throughout the building. Each AED has a QR code that can be scanned with a cell phone or tablet (tablet provided if they prefer). Once scanned, the QR code leads to a form that requires you to confirm that the AED is present, not damaged, and has a blinking light. The form is then submitted, and that data is sent to my tracking spreadsheet. We have approx. 300 AEDs around campus, each of which has to be checked monthly. Some AEDs may require a battery change or a pad replacement, so we would like them to change parts as needed, but that should be minimal. Detailed training and documentation are provided for all aspects of the job.
