Non CDL Deliver Driver/Swingman

Johnson Brothers, a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor has been providing, exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry.

We are currently looking for a new team member to join our Delivery Team in Charlotte, NC. The Driver Swingman plays a vital role in the delivery process for Johnson Brothers by covering routes and making pallet deliveries.

Monday through Friday schedule beginning at 5:00 am until completion or as business needs dictate.

CDL B required

This is a_ labor-intensive_ role and our Delivery Drivers will be responsible for moving products weighing up to 60 lbs repeatedly throughout the day

Responsibilities:

Drive a 26 ft box truck to make deliveries to retail and grocery stores, warehouse clubs or specialty wine shops on unassigned routes

Check-in merchandise and keep up with the paperwork that is generated by a route

Provide excellent customer service to our customers

Assist other drivers on routes and fill-in for vacation coverage

Job Requirements:

Good motor vehicle record for the last 3 years

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to obtain ABC Wholesale Salesman Permit

Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly, and use a hand truck, pallet jack or cart

Must be computer literate and comfortable using hand-held technology

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and criminal background check
