The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced MBSE specialist to support NSWC Crane / NUWC Newport in developing and integrating system-of-systems and system-level MBSE models. The ideal candidate will lead complex MBSE initiatives, provide strategic guidance, and mentor less experienced professionals. Responsibilities: Develop and integrate MBSE models (Structural, Functional, Behavior, and Parametric) Perform configuration management and control of models Convert document-based technical data into MBSE models Review third-party models for accuracy and correctness Generate CDRL documents from MBSE models Present MBSE-related topics to senior leaders and decision-makers Establish and enforce modeling standards and guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in systems engineering
Minimum of 7 years experience in DOD engineering/engineering technician position
Experience with MBSE in DOD environment Expert knowledge in systems engineering and innovative system architectures
Mastery of modeling languages including SysML, DoDAF, and UAF Proficiency with Cameo System Modeler and/or MagicDraw
Experience with MagicGrid or Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM)
Familiarity with Cameo Suite tools (Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, Data Hub, UPDM, Safety and Reliability Analyzer) Ability to convert SysML models to DoDAF models
Strong communication skills to present complex information to diverse stakeholders Leadership experience in mentoring and guiding MBSE teams
Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
