Overview
Implements and troubleshoots enterprise-wide network Technologies to include configuration of network switches, routers, network access control systems, wireless systems, firewalls, and related functions. Responsible for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of network hardware and network links as well l as project management of network services initiatives and support of integrated systems.

What you will do

  • Provides technical expertise implementing and supporting various network systems throughout RHS. I.e.., Cisco Systems, Aruba, Fortinet.
  • Installs, implements, programs, and maintains network equipment and services to ensure uptime and efficient operations. Ensures system changes and system documentation are properly updated and maintained.
  • Assesses and Analyzes customer issues. Provides technical diagnosis and general technical support. Troubleshoots network hardware and communications services related to network delivery. WAN, LAN, WLAN topology support. Implements solutions to maintain efficient operations and system integrity.
  • Tests and Monitors network services and systems to ensure secure and efficient operations. Maintains software code and updates to best supported levels.


Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED, High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree, Information Technology or related field  (Preferred)


Experience

  • 5-6 years relevant network experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Network (Plus) - CompTIA (Required)
  • Cisco Certified Network Association (CCNA) - Cisco Systems, Inc.   (Preferred)
  • Certified Wireless Technology Specialist (CWTS) (Preferred)

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience deploying and supporting multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks
  • Experience in network security, routing, and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, IPSec or VPN
  • Experience deploying, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment and solutions
  • Ability to evaluate new technologies and implement strategies for successful deployment
  • Requires experience supporting end users
  • Requires outstanding oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work with high-functioning teams
  • Requires strong organizational skills and attention to details
