Business Analyst - Asset Performance Management

About the role

The Business Analyst – Asset Performance Management is responsible for supporting the strategy, development, and delivery of solutions within Regal Rexnord’s Connected Solutions group. This position will work closely with the Sr. Product Manager, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to help gather and analyze business and technical requirements, support product strategy development, and ensure alignment with customer needs and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, experience in product development or technical environments, and a collaborative mindset to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills with business acumen and has experience working in connected product or IoT environments. The Business Analyst will also assist with internal communication, cross-functional alignment, and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective product execution.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, with Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, product analyst, or similar role within a technology or product development environment
  • Strong understanding digital solutions in either B2B or B2C settings
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and thorough business and functional requirements
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and working within cross-functional product development teams is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision

General duties

  • Gather, document, and validate requirements from internal and external stakeholders (including customers, sales, and engineering)
  • Author clear, concise business and functional requirement documentation
  • Assist in identifying and resolving gaps between business needs and technical implementation
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to align requirements, clarify objectives, and drive execution
  • Assist in evaluating feature trade-offs and developing user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile/SCRUM artifacts
  • Partner with the Sr. Product Manager to develop and maintain product roadmaps and business cases for connected and smart power transmission systems
  • Support front-end ideation and product discovery efforts in collaboration with engineering and R&D teams
  • Contribute to internal product documentation, sales enablement materials, and product marketing collateral
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, IoT technologies, and competitor offerings
  • Willingness to travel up to 10–15%, as needed
