Position Overview

The VP, Production Incentive Financing is a strategic business partner who leads the production incentive financing division for Cast & Crew, Cast & Crew Financial Services (CCFS).  This role oversees our production financing loan portfolio with the responsibility of assessing new opportunities as well as oversight of the existing loan portfolio.  The role works closely with the Sales leadership within the Film, Television and Streaming (FTVS) of Cast & Crew reporting directly to the SVP/Head of Sales FTVS.  The successful leader must be ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the oversight of a large loan portfolio working directly with our clients (production companies), third party lenders, legal and finance business partners.  The VP, Production Incentive Financing will have the opportunity to act as the manager of this financing operation with a leader production services company driving value for both Cast & Crew and our production clientele. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the Incentive Financing division, CCFS, including one direct report
  • Management of the CCFS loan portfolio to ensure all full compliance and financial oversight of all exposures
  • Maintain relationships and oversight of both bank lenders and outside legal counsel
  • Act as primary point of contact with producers and accountants for both new and existing loans
  • Work closely with the Sales team on new opportunities to ensure financing clients are utilizing the full suite of services from Cast & Crew
  • Work with the Production Incentives team to track incentive programs, legislative changes and activity tracking for current loans
  • Assess potential new loans including the preparation of credit committee memorandums detailing all aspects of the loan including collateral assessment, borrower credibility, timing and overall credit risk for each opportunity
  • Oversight of all aspects of the loans including but not limited to approval of transactions, monitoring of collateral values, estimating loss allowances, review of interest accruals and initiating funding requests
  • Manage a staff of one to ensure loans are entered correctly into Fundingo and all analysis completed timely and accurately
  • Prepare forecasts for the CCFS division including projected loan volume and cash flow
  • Manage outside vendors, review and approve expenditures
  • Support Finance team through annual audits of the business
  • Work with Legal to ensure full compliance including annual filing associated with the lending license, reporting to banks, and all other related compliance requirements
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across all key stakeholders both internally and externally

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience within entertainment industry banking with a focus on lending
  • Minimum of 3 years in the entertainment industry including production finance, production incentives and other related areas
  • Must have extensive knowledge of entertainment banking and a professional network of banking and finance contacts
  • Proficiency in loan management software solutions preferable Fundingo
  • Knowledge of calculation of SONIA, Libor, Euribor rates
  • Proven track record
