Position Summary
Your role as a Field Operations Manager to lead and oversee day-to-day operations for our Crossbore Team. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of field teams, with a strong focus on labor productivity, safety compliance, quality control, and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a background in utility or construction field operations, possess strong leadership and organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service. The Field Operations Manager will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and utility partners to ensure successful execution of cross bore detection, investigation, and remediation efforts.
Qualifications
Primary Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to all Field Operation Managers and Supervisors.

Manage staffing levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues, recruit, select, train, assign schedules, coach, and train field staff

Work closely with Project Manager and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, processes, budgets, as well as follow through with implementation.

Develop operations systems, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for completing work, equipment utilization, and equipment/inventory management

Communicate with customers and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations and ensure that the project safety goals are met, and training is completed
Job Qualifications and Skills:

3-5 years of experience in related field with 1-2 years in operations management

Valid Driver's License with a good driving record

Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment

Proficient in using current technology; smartphone, tablets, MS office tools, etc.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to walk up to 5 miles or more per day in various terrain and weather conditions

Must be able to work in confined spaces, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds

Ability to travel overnight occasionally depending on project location
