Full Stack Software Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Serve as a full stack JavaScript developer building a powerful integration platform for managing and orchestrating integrations with dozens of other applications. Use the Tech Stack, including Node.js, React, Express, Babel, TypeScript or ES2023, Webpack, and MongoDB, to play a key role in delivering impactful applications that support software development and DevOps projects throughout Booz Allen. Work with DevOps automation approaches involving technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. Remain current on Web development technologies, assess new standards, technologies, and trends, and formulate and recommend strategies and tactics for future platform enhancements. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience developing software in a professional setting
• 5+ years of experience using Nodejs as a full-stack application language 
• Experience with React and Nodejs 
• Experience working with MongoDB 
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs 
• Experience with asynchronous programming in promises, generators, or callbacks 
• Experience with Linux or OS X 
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing of server and client-side JavaScript, including Mocha and Chai 
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Consul or Vault, microservices, or service discovery 
• Knowledge of HTML best practices and pitfalls 
• Knowledge of AWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Python 
• Ability to provide code samples or GitHub links
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
