Job Description

The Senior Manager of Insight & Analytics is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the development, management, and optimization of management and operational reporting at Vuori. This role involves leading a team of reporting analysts and working collaboratively with various departments to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable reporting to support decision-making and operational efficiency. This Senior Manager plays a critical role in enabling transparency, accountability, and operational performance while creating data democratization via self service reporting at Vuori. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for self service and management/operational reporting via industry leading technology and best practices 
  • Collaborate with business leads and technology peers to identify opportunities where data can be used to create business value. 
  • Introduce, execute and support innovative & proactive analytical techniques and technologies enabling business analytic capabilities and driving ROI  
  • Build and own analytic and visualization tools and business semantic layer driving self-service and curated reports/dashboards 
  • Develop enterprise level, complex formatted dashboards & visualizations, driving standardization, certification and consistency across the organization.   
  • Build a strong and transparent working relationship with the business and technology teams on communication, prioritization and ROI measurement against stated milestones and goals 
  • Proactively monitor end user experience by creating all data points, triggers, KPIs and notifications to ensure job run time, usage and overall performance meets established SLA's.  Publish and communicate analytics that address performance, usage and business adoption of data domains, reports and formatted dashboards and align with a plan to maintain and improve all 
  • Manage a team of employees and consultants to deliver best in class analytic solutions as part of business analytic capability driven product team 
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching and mentorship to team members. Identify opportunities to expand roles with training and unique challenging initiatives to provide exposure and increased skillset.  
  • The senior manager will collaborate with data engineering, business leads and other cross-functional teams to deliver analytics as part of an agile product team.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering); a Master's degree is preferred. 
  • 8+ years' experience with Business Intelligence / Analytical architecture, frameworks, tools and development lifecycles with increasing levels of supervisory and leadership responsibilities 
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and logical thinking  
  • Experience identifying use cases opportunities for Data Science & Advanced Analytics, building POC's to prove out value and justify investment  
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with and effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences  
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and manage through influence across a large international organization, preferably in retail space  
  • Excellent project management (Agile) and time management skills 
  • Ability to use core analytics methods in developing solutions and design of experiments: Segmentation/clustering techniques, Predictive modeling, Machine Learning 
  • Cloud Environment:  Microsoft Azure preferred, AWS/GCP accepted 
  • Data Management:  Azure Data Factory,Snowflake, Synapse, DataBricks, Mulesoft, Synapse 
  • BI & Visualization (Semantic Layer): Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI 
  • Programming/Scripting: Python 

Additional Information

Pay Range: $162,000-190,000/yr
