Onsite: This position requires an employee to be on-site on a full-time basis.
The Role
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver multifaceted cell builds that range in scope from development to scaled batch builds. This includes developing and managing the portfolio of cell builds, timelines, risks, and communications across teams including cell design engineering, cell process engineering, operations, quality, purchasing etc.
What You’ll Do
Technical & Operational Integration
Coordinate with Advanced/Execution Cell Engineering to ensure designs are maturing through the development process and ready for development builds.
Coordinate with Process and Equipment Engineering to ensure readiness of manufacturing assets for new cell designs or process development.
Track and resolve technical issues, risks, and dependencies across internal and external stakeholders.
Program Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership
Develop & manage integrated timing and deliverables across R&D, Advanced/Execution Cell Engineering, Mfg Process Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Facilities, etc. as cell designs progress through the development pipeline.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment through structured communication forums
Serve as the central point of coordination for build events, validation campaigns, and design iterations
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain program documentation including schedules, risk, decision logs, meeting notes etc.
Provide regular updates to leadership on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Ensure traceability of requirements, test results, and design changes throughout the program lifecycle.
Coordinate and manage budget for new product introductions
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree / PMP certification a plus
7+ years of experience managing complex programs through varying stages of development
Strong understanding of battery cell development and manufacturing processes
Experience with new product introduction (NPI) environments
Ability to lead without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments.
Proficient in program management tools (MS Project)
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
