Security Architect

Title: Security Architect

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI polygraph

Responsibilities:

• Routinely engage with end-users visiting the government site as required and provide SIGINT insight and operational support to the FMF
• Apply knowledge of required compliance controls and techniques for SIGINT sensors
• Facilitate Testing, Training and Exercise events in collaboration with the government to ensure advanced SIGINT capabilities are incorporated and utilized
• Conduct risk assessments discove1y operations in conceit with the agency and the greater national intelligence community guidelines to assist with technology research, analysis and testing of capabilities and initiatives concerning government requirements and priorities
• Ensure communication, access and the information dissemination utilizing appropriate information systems, domains, venues, web portals, and forums that maximize and leverage agency resources capable of supporting program requirements and priorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, security architecture and its development with a focus on federal government network environments
• Expertise in a variety of networking technologies and protocols, including LAN, WAN, wireless, data center networking, and network security
• Expertise in security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network access controls, and network segmentation
• Strong understanding of federal government security requirements, including FISMA and NIST guidelines
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Experienced with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and UNIX
• Understanding of DNS security principles such as routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services, and DDOS mitigation technology
• Solid understanding of the ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks
• Third-party auditing skills and cloud risk assessment methodologies
• Current TS/SCI w/CI polygraph required
