Job Description

We are excited to announce a newly created leadership role – Head of Business Partnering Trans Tasman. Reporting to our new Chief People Officer, this pivotal role will unify the Australian and New Zealand HR business partnering teams under a single, strategic leader.

This is a unique chance to shape and lead HR business partnering across both markets, driving best practices, fostering collaboration, and delivering tailored solutions to support our dynamic healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and unify the ANZ Business Partnering teams, building a cohesive, high-performing function

• Provide expert HR advisory across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring alignment with local employment laws and cultural nuances. 

• Partner with business leaders to design and implement people strategies that drive business performance and employee engagement

• Champion continuous improvement in HR processes and ways of working across the Trans Tasman region

• Collaborate with the CPO and senior leadership to influence organizational strategy and culture

Qualifications

• Extensive HR knowledge and experience within the Australian market, including employment law and best practices

• Working knowledge of New Zealand employment law and HR frameworks 

• Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple regions or countries

• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships at all levels

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style
