Salary

Range £57,750.00 to £65,000.00

Job Purpose

Lead the delivery of Engineering Support Services for the site.  This will include but not be limited to Scaffold and Alternative access, Welding resources, Civils resources and industrial jetting teams. Deliver all aspects of this role using the agreed PS&O processes to create robust operational and gap plans and deliver them within the agreed timeframe and budget. Measure and manage this support function on a daily to long term basis. 

Core Accountabilities

• Build and deliver an efficient welding and access/scaffold team to deliver the needs across the whole site and all APU’s – Extraction, Refinery, Pulp Management, Energy and Customer supply.
• Understand the resource demands and deliver the service accordingly with close liaison and discussion with the APU teams to ensure their needs are managed. 
• Become authorised in all Permits necessary to ensure efficient deployment of support services and ensure that all necessary risk assessment, method statements and permits are in place for tasks under your control.
• Use work delivery and productivity KPI’s to manage resources and feedback during daily performance boards and wiring processes.
• Lead and promote the use of standardised Lean tools in delivering the support services 
• Ensure quality, environment and health and safety standards are met at all times for the services you lead.
• Ensure that support services deliver their work to agreed statutory and mandatory standards and that relevant documentation is completed for their work.
• Drive Tool Time productivity improvements within the services under your responsibility and show results through the KPI process.
• Be responsible for the building fabric standards for the site and drive its improvement. Deliver the work to the annual budget and highlight areas for improvement
• Work with the Gap planner to ensure that work orders for resources under your control are effectively managed through PS&O in Ops and the scope challenge/ Gap Planning process for maintenance.
• Take responsibility for budget management of the support services that you lead.  This will be through a combination of budget allocation to APU’s and or budget ownership within the role.
