Senior Technical Writer/Editor

Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a Sr. Technical Writer/Editor to support a contract in the San Antonio, TX area.  

Position Overview:

Using your experience and expertise in technical writing, you will author, update, and maintain a standardized library of system documentation in accordance with the System Technical Information Guides. In addition, you will: 

• Standardize formatting and ensure consistency between various documents 
• Coordinate with unit security manager, subject matter experts, and information system security officer (ISSO) prior to release of final versions
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with the following:
  • Working with defense and commercial companies in editing narrative and graphical products
  • Using Word processing, spreadsheet, and graphic design applications to produce test plans, procedures, reports, technical manuals, etc.
  • Creating, compiling, and delivering system/software developmental documentation packages
  • Experience following Military Standards
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
