Internship - Cyber Network Operations Intern - Containerization & Programing

Our end state is to bring on former interns full time after completing their school work.   Role Learn how to create and maintain a high performance, high network throughput application supporting missions in the Cyber Operations domain. Become familiar with a wide range of low level network protocols and their vulnerabilities.   Responsibilities

• Write C, Go, and/or Python code to implement feature tickets with the support of a senior engineer
• Configure and run containers and virtual machines in a test environment
• Study RFCs, vendor documentation, and implementations for common network protocols, then write code using that knowledge
• Participate in code reviews and design meetings

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with C/C++, Python, Go, and/or Rust (in the classroom or from another internship)
• Understanding of network programming fundamentals, particularly with networking, data structures, and data models
• Ability to collaborate on a team, but execute independently
• Comfortable in a high-trust, adaptable, team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of kernel network stacks and/or kernel development
• Understanding of CMake/Make and embedded build systems
