Become familiar with a wide range of low level network protocols and their vulnerabilities. Responsibilities
- Write C, Go, and/or Python code to implement feature tickets with the support of a senior engineer
- Configure and run containers and virtual machines in a test environment
- Study RFCs, vendor documentation, and implementations for common network protocols, then write code using that knowledge
- Participate in code reviews and design meetings
- Pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with C/C++, Python, Go, and/or Rust (in the classroom or from another internship)
- Understanding of network programming fundamentals, particularly with networking, data structures, and data models
- Ability to collaborate on a team, but execute independently
- Comfortable in a high-trust, adaptable, team environment
- Understanding of kernel network stacks and/or kernel development
- Understanding of CMake/Make and embedded build systems
