Hours per fortnight
44 hours and 6 minutes per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Plan and implement projects using appropriate project management tools and approaches to ensure milestones are achieved and outcomes delivered within time and resource constraints.
- Research and analysis of relevant information, to provide succinct insights and recommendations based on evidence, reasoning, and consultation with stakeholders, as required.
- Prepare written advice for decision-makers, including briefs, discussion papers, reports, correspondence, recommendations, and presentations.
- Provide constructive editorial services and coordinate report production at a high standard.
- Liaise with key stakeholders both internally and externally to government.
- Coordinate administrative services, including the development of business processes to support State of the Environment reporting.
- Support the delivery of the State of the Environment Report, including the implementation of appropriate quality assurance actions and review of project planning outputs and outcomes.
- Maintain records and provide advice in relation to financial, human and physical resources of the project as required, in accordance with Government and Department policies, guidelines and directions.
- Perform other project management, coordination and training duties as appropriate for the position classification and award and in accordance with the skills, training and competencies of the occupant.
Desirable Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by a university.
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
