Job Title: Senior Finance Manager, Immunology

Location: Boston, MA- Hybrid

Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager, Immunology is a critical part of the US team as we prepare to launch several new and significant products in our Pharma portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director, Prescription Finance this position will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing the Pharma business unit P&L, as well as leading OpEx planning and close related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full P&L reporting and consolidation responsibilities for monthly/quarterly reporting cycles to be shared with senior management and US HQ FP&A.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes. Oversee planning cycle activities and completion of key finance deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain all formal OpEx forecasts and zero-based Budget, including the annual Long-Range Plan, and act as a super user for key planning and reporting systems.
  • Oversee BU performance and enhance analytical capabilities to optimize decision making and drive operational excellence.
  • Act as finance business partner for the Pharma business unit leadership team and collaborate on developing investments framework for key initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop advanced financial analyses and reporting and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Support all marketing promotional activities; provide key decision support through analytical modeling regarding business strategies and resource utilization; serves as a liaison between Finance and the Marketing team relating to P&L considerations and financial impact of business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal, regional, and global cross-functional teams and thrive on the opportunity to drive financial and process improvements.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related discipline is required; MBA or Masters is strongly preferred
  • 5-8+ years of relevant work experience (industry experience preferred - Pharma/Biotech/MedTech)
  • Strong knowledge of key accounting principles
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and Power Point, experience with Oracle ERP and PBCS a plus
  • Strong business partnering abilities and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic environment, and possess a high degree of accountability
