PA/NP - Pediatric Pulmonary - Helen DeVos Children's Hospital

Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, is seeking a motivated individual to join the growing practice of 6 Physicians and 7 APPs. This position will consist of both inpatient and outpatient work, participation within multidisciplinary clinics and opportunity for teaching and growth.

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is set on providing care, knowledge and education to the patients and families within West Michigan. Make referrals and communicate with other specialty providers to enhance patient care; perform rounds on hospitalized patients; maintain medical and clinical records, reports, and correspondence.

Position Highlights:

• Mon-Friday schedule 8am-5pm

• 1x/wk shared call with Physician support

• Telemedicine visits 1x/wk

• Comprehensive orientation process

Qualifications:

• Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission

• 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience Preferred

• Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role Required

• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner Preferred

• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

• LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required

• CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire
