Spectrolab, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company’s Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) business unit has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Production Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Sylmar, California.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with the development of new or revised processes.
• Guides routine production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.
• Reviews standard technical documents.
• Guides others in complying with manpower requirements.
• Collects and interprets data to report to managers.
• Assists in translating data into actionable plan. Reviews and validates corrective action plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 2nd shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in a manufacturing or factory support environment
• Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions
• Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience with wiring processes. Examples include crimping, forming, and/or solder sleeves

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Summary pay range: $56,100 - $75,900
