  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design, prototype, and validate advanced actuators for humanoid robots

  • Work on electromagnetics and mechatronic systems, including modeling, simulation, and hands-on experimentation

  • Assist in developing test setups and procedures for performance characterization (force, speed, efficiency, etc.)

  • Document design processes, test plans, and results to support iterative improvements

  • Contribute to cross-functional discussions about component integration, reliability, and scalability

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) program in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on electromagnetics

  • Experience

    • Course projects or extracurricular work involving actuator design, mechatronic systems, or electromagnetic studies

    • Previous lab or internship experience in related fields is a plus

  • Technical Skills

    • Familiarity with electromagnetic principles, coil winding, and motor/generator fundamentals

    • Basic competence in CAD or simulation software for mechatronic assemblies (e.g., OnShape, SolidWorks, MATLAB/Simulink)

    • Hands-on prototyping experience (e.g., soldering, wiring, 3D printing, machining)
