The Role
The Assistant Manager of UGG North America Digital Merchandising is the owner of UGG.com’s digital presentation of products to consumers, and is responsible for managing all aspects of the UGG brand’s on-site merchandising strategy & execution for both US and Canada websites, in direct support of the broader e-commerce team’s annual revenue & conversion targets.
This position will help to shape pre-season strategy of consumer journeys, as the owner of the site hierarchy/map, and have a hand in shaping Go-to-Market plans via development of new user journeys in partnership with the GTM Manager & Senior E-Commerce Manager. In addition to pre-season ownership, this role will also partner very closely with the in-season site merchandising team responsible for executing all site merchandising activities (inclusive of product launches, promotions, take downs, Navigation, PLP & PDP creation and management, SEO strategy in partnership with digital marketing, technical feature maintenance, 3rd party tech shopping tools, regular business reviews, etc).
The position sits on a team comprised of E-Commerce Front End Product, Go to Market, User Experience & Personalization, UI Design, Content Management, and Data Analysis, in addition to digital merchandising. This role will partner with these functions, in addition to various cross functional teams (merchandise buying/planning, brand creative, brand content marketing, digital marketing, customer care, supply chain) to bring the site experience to life and achieve annual revenue sales & conversion targets.
This position has direct reporting responsibility for the Merchandising Coordinator FLG NA role that supports the UGG and the Koolaburra by UGG sites in North America.

We’d love to hear from people with
- 5+ years experience in related field.
- Bachelors Degree in related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience with project management, managing 3rd party technology, collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Online experience and knowledge of web site functionality, and /or digital marketing and experience in a branded product environment required.
- Merchandising experience or prior experience partnering with merchandising & assortment planning teams preferred.
- Experience working with various project management tools and communications tools preferred.
- Experience working with a CMS / Site Management Tool (Salesforce, Shopify, Magento, Core Media Studio, Dynamic Yield or Other)
- Analytical skills that combine expertise in data capture from multiple sources to tell a story about the end-to-end shopping journey of a user.
- Working knowledge of project management systems (Monday, WorkFront, etc) with Agile Workflows (JIRA, Aha!) a plus.
- Familiarity with web design practices and UX/UI.
