Your Tasks:

  • People management for one Scrum team

  • Provide technical leadership and mentor developers to ensure high-quality, maintainable code

  • Conduct code reviews and support best practices in software engineering

  • Foster strong team collaboration, encourage knowledge sharing, and maintain an inclusive team cultur

  • Identify and resolve technical roadblocks that impact delivery

  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing project updates and clarifying requirements

  • Drive continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and refining team workflows

  • Support performance management by giving constructive feedback and enabling professional development

  • Apply and promote agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) to ensure effective team organization and delivery

  • Actively participate in team ceremonies to stay connected to team needs and progress

You bring in:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science OR corresponding professional experience, ideally paired with medical knowledge

  • Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies

  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a software development team

  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) development and application of Scrum methodology in international and multi-site frameworks

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and TypeScript

  • Experience with software development tools and frameworks (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)

  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically

The minimum salary for this position is € 56.000 gross per year (38.5 working hours) according to the IT-collective agreement, an overpayment plus bonus arrangement depending on qualification/experience is self-evident for us.
